BlizzCon 2021 has all the promise to be the company's highest viewed event yet, and the pressure's on for Blizzard to deliver big.
With expectations higher than ever, here are the biggest things we want to see at BlizzCon this year.
WoW Classic TBC Reveal
Phase 6, the final content of WoW Classic, has come and gone, and players have conquered its massive Naxxramas raid.
All things now point to the next step, revisiting the game's first expansion with WoW Classic The Burning Crusade.
There's no better time to reveal this huge release than BlizzCon 2021, and fans will be very disappointed if the moment passes.

Not only do we want to see an official announcement of WoW Classic TBC at BlizzCon 2021 - we hope to see a trailer, get a firm release date, and a timeline for its beta period as well.
Diablo 4 Trailer
Diablo is coming off one of its most controversial BlizzCon showings ever with the disappointment of Diablo Immortal.
If you need a reminder, "You all have phones, right?" might ring a bell.
Since then, Blizzard has moved toward Diablo 4 - and despite delaying its release to 2022, giving fans something to chew on at BlizzCon 2021 would be a great way to earn back trust.
Overwatch 2 Progress
Overwatch 2 has been pushed back so far fans hardly remember it's still in development.
The Overwatch 2 Gameplay Trailer premiere all the way back in 2019, and Blizzard recently announced fans will have to wait until 2022 for release.
With the disappointing pushback, Blizzard needs to make amends with the Overwatch community - and that starts by showing some good, concrete progress on Overwatch 2.

Another trailer simply won't be enough with the first coming 3 years ago.
Starcraft 3 Reveal
Blizzard is the undisputed top dog of the RTS genre, but fans feel the company has given less respect than ever to its massive genre-leading series.
Starcraft and Warcraft both molded RTS to its fullest potential for the last two decades, but since, things have slowed down on the innovation front.
Fans are worried the botched launch of Warcraft 3 Reforged has soured Blizzard's (or perhaps Activision's) view on the RTS genre, and with a recent move to cancel new development for Starcraft 2 items, there's fire causing that smoke.
For these reasons, we have high hopes that BlizzCon 2021 will reveal Starcraft 3, and give fans hope that Blizzard will continue pushing the boundaries of RTS.
Hearthstone Innovations
Hearthstone took the gaming world by storm in 2014, and held a massive community for its first few years.
That audience has dwindled as of late, and even after a move to recapture that glory by releasing Hearthstone Classic with the cards from launch, more is needed for the card game.
To bring back the Hearthstone hype, Blizzard will have to take new steps and innovate the card game genre even further. BlizzCon 2021 will be the perfect place to put this forward.
