Latest- Sergio Perez secures victory in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
Sergio Perez won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the second time earlier today. The Mexican racer crossed the finish line just a second before the runner up Sebastian Vettel. However, everyone thought it was Max Verstappen’s race until the end.
Verstappen was in the lead for most of the race until he crashed with just five laps before the finish. His Red Bull RB13’s tires gave out which led to the accident. Verstappen wasn’t hurt badly, but it did trigger the safety car to come out.
Baku City Circuit Guide
The inaugural Azerbaijan Grand Prix took place in 2017, which witnessed one of the biggest upsets of the season, with Daniel Ricciardo winning, while Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel engaged in a furious battle behind the Safety Car.

Current Constructor Standings
For the first time in the current era, Red Bull Racing are taking the World Championship fight to Mercedes!
After Max Verstappen claimed victory in Monaco, combined with Sergio Perez's P4, Red Bull leapfrog Mercedes and top the table by just one point.
The Williams and Haas teams are still yet to score any points so far this season.
Current Driver Standings
After Max Verstappen's Monaco Grand Prix victory, the Dutchman has taken over the lead in the World Championship from Lewis Hamilton.
Sergio Perez is finally in the top five, after a fine fourth position on the streets of the Principality.
The Mexican is followed by the two Ferrari drivers - Carlos Sainz scored some good points with a second-place, but can't quite get past Charles Leclerc.
It was also a positive day for Sebastian Vettel and Antonio Giovinazzi too, with both drivers scoring their first points of the season.
Kimi Raikkonen, George Russell, Nicholas Latifi, Mick Schumacher, and Nikita Mazepin are all still yet to score points this season.

Latest - Bottas admits ‘mental strength has been tested’ in worst start to season in Mercedes career
Bottas has suffered two DNFs so far in 2021, at the Emilia Romagna and Monaco Grands Prix – while with Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton having won three out of five races this year, Bottas has yet to finish higher than P3.
And with Bottas having scored the fewest amount of points in the first five races of a season since joining Mercedes – he's currently in fourth place in the drivers’ standings, behind McLaren’s Lando Norris, and with 47 points to championship leader Max Verstappen’s 105 – the Finn said that it hadn’t been an easy start to the year.
“In the beginning of the season, definitely the mental strength has been tested,” said Bottas.
