Nike News has revealed the new Air Jordan 37 in time for the 2022/23 NBA season.
The reveal confirms the brand's continuation of its annual signature Jordan releases, with the new sneakers looking like they're the most technologically advanced Jordans to date.
This will no doubt put them in contention to be considered some of the best basketball shoes around upon their arrival if the sneakers are anything like their predecessors - the Air Jordan 36.
That being said, here's everything we know about the release of the Air Jordan 37s so far...
Air Jordan 37 Release Date
After initial rumours surrounding the Jordan 37s spread, Nike News confirmed the first "Beyond Borders" colourway was scheduled to launch in September 2022.
It has now emerged that the "Beyond Borders" sneakers are out now as of 16 September and available to buy at the Nike store.
Jordan's Instagram has also confirmed that the second "Hare" colourway has also been released as of 29 September.
These are the only two designs revealed and released so far, so make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping this article updated with the latest news as and when it arrives.
That said, here's what we know about the "Hare" and "Beyond Borders" designs...
Air Jordan 37 Design
Images of the Jordan 37 showcase a unique new look and design for an exciting new year of basketball. Nike has also integrated some of its most advanced technology yet to take the 37 to the next level.
Nike states that it's Sports Research Lab has dissected the three stages of jumping: crash, load and launch, to implement technology designed to improve each aspect.
As a result, the Jordan 37s feature TPU moulds in the heels encased by Formula 23 foam, like the Luka 1s, to absorb energy during the crash, carbon fibre midfoot shanks, last seen on the Jordan 32, to improve the loading phase, plus Zoom Air Strobel units in the forefeet for a double-stacked pop off the pad for an improved launch.
Nike goes on to say that the uppers are made from a new variation of the classic Lenoweave that uses a yarn called Arkema, which is said to be both strong and pliable.
In terms of the design, the "Beyond Borders" colourway looks to be the slightly darker of the two revealed, featuring a light bone and black design, unlike the lighter, white "Hare" release.
Both sneakers feature multi-coloured outsoles though reminiscent of the Jordan 7s, thus rounding off the design.
Air Jordan 37 Price
The "Beyond Borders" and "Hare" colourways both cost $185 in adult sizes, or £167.95 if you're from the UK.
The sneakers have also been released in Big Kids' sizes and cost $140 via Nike. That being said, here's where you can buy your own pair of Jordan 37s...
