The long-awaited "Taxi", also known as the "Yellow Toe", Air Jordan 1 has been revealed by Nike SNKRS for their release.
Zach Myers first revealed the shoes as a PE in 2018, but it appears we're finally getting a general release four years later alongside the likes of the new Lyrical Lemonade Air Force 1s and Patta Air Max 1s.
While there is plenty to look forward to in 2022, we're focusing our attention solely on the "Yellow Toe" release in this article. With that being said, here's everything we know so far about their upcoming debut...
Air Jordan 1 Taxi Release Date
After rumours of their arrival this August, Nike SNKRS has confirmed that the "Taxi" 1s are available now as of 13 August 2022 in full family sizing.
Full family sizing includes Younger Kids' and Toddler sizes.
Air Jordan 1 Taxi Design
The "Yellow Toe" or "Taxi" design is reminiscent of some of the best Jordan 1 colourways around thanks to the Retro colour-blocking and high-top silhouette.
The uppers will be constructed out of white and black leather as per the usual "Black Toe" style, while contrasting Taxi Yellow overlays dress the toe boxes and heel counters.
In terms of branding, you'll find the Nike Air logo in yellow stitched to white tongue tabs, whilst the black Jordan 'Wings' insignias find their way onto the ankle collars.
The insoles feature the same yellow tone as on the uppers, with Nike Air branding appearing once again, although this time in black.
The sneakers then sit on top of white midsoles and bright yellow outsoles to round off the "Taxi" colourway in typical Jordan 1 fashion.
Air Jordan 1 Taxi Price
The "Taxi" Jordan 1s are priced at £164.95 in adult sizing, whilst the Younger Kids' iteration costs £59.95 and the Toddler size retails for £47.95.
Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 Taxi
You can find the sneakers listed right now on Nike's SNKRS launch page, but we'd recommend acting fast if you want to secure your pair before they sell out.
You could also keep an eye on the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful on release day.
