The new Air Jordan 1 High OG "Heritage" colourway has officially been revealed, leaving many sneaker fans wondering if Nike has announced a release date yet.

Despite Jordan experimenting with some of its upcoming releases, this pair of high-top sneakers stick to the original Jordan 1 style and colour blocking, much like the soon-to-be-released "Visionaire" and "Starfish" design.

Although there's plenty to look forward to over the coming months, we're focusing solely on the "Heritage" colourway in this article. So, without further delay, let's dive in...

Air Jordan 1 High OG Heritage Release Date

After rumours of the sneakers arriving on 25 May 2022 were reported, we can now confirm that the "Heritage" 1s are available now.

The sneakers have also arrived in full family sizing as well, so stick around to find out where to buy them right here.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Heritage Design

Although the "Heritage" Jordan 1's adopt the OG silhouette featured on some of the best Jordan 1 colourways around, the colour block is slightly different to the original design from 1985.

For example, the toe boxes match the heel counters and collars rather than the sneaker's base layer, whilst the mudguard overlays come dressed in the same white as the sides of the shoes.

That said, the sneakers do feature the vintage Chicago colour scheme, with the predominately white base contrasted by black, namely dressing the laces and tongue tabs, and University Red accents.

In terms of branding, you'll find the Nike Air logo on the insoles and tongue tabs, while the Nike emblem appears in the middle of the outsoles.

You also get the usual Jordan 'Wings' insignias on the ankle collars to complete this OG, but also unique, "Heritage" Jordan 1 colourway.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Heritage Price

A men's pair of these "Heritage" sneakers cost $170, or £152.95. This corresponds to the usual price of Jordan 1 Highs.

Smaller and subsequently cheaper kid's sizes are also available as mentioned.

Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 High OG Heritage

One of the first places you should find these "Heritage" high-tops in stock will be the Nike store under the new releases, Jordan, or basketball subsection.

Alternatively, make sure you check in to the listing on the SNKRS launch page as an alternative place to buy.

You could also try the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful come release day.
