Lionel Messi's latest signature adidas X Speedflow.1 football boots have been revealed, leaving many fans speculating as to when we might see them release to the general public.
The 7-time Ballon d'Or winner first signed with adidas as a teenager in 2006 and, in 2017, renewed his deal to a lifetime contract whilst also making him the face of adidas' football range.
As a result, we've seen a number of great Lionel Messi-exclusive boots over the years, many of which feature a similar gold colour palette to the upcoming design.
With that being said, here's everything we know about Messi's signature Speedflow's so far...
Messi's adidas X Speedflow.1 Boots Release Date
Messi's signature Speeflow boots have now arrived in keeping with the originally scheduled 22 February release date.
Although this was just a rumour at first, it would seem their predicted arrival was accurate on this occasion.
Messi's adidas X Speedflow.1 Boots Design
Messi's new boots calls back to his signature style from 2014 with the gold Adizero IV's.
This particular release includes black elements around the adidas stripes, synthetic heel, and Primeknit collar, contrasting the yellow, while both colours combine to dress the laces.
Upon closer inspection, it would appear rough, handwritten words are etched in the background of the upper. The words include 'Familia', 'Respect', and 'Nostros' which translates as 'Us' from Spanish.
On the back, you get the typical Speedflow logo in yellow which is placed just above the snake-skin-like pattern of the 3D-printed heel counter.
Underfoot, you get strategically placed moulds with translucent tips, designed to maximise your grip with the playing surface.
Messi's adidas X Speedflow.1 Boots Price
The top-of-the-range Speedflow boots will retail for around $250, or £180.
However, cheaper variations are available which go as low as £43 for a men's pair.
Where To Buy Messi's adidas X Speedflow.1 Boots
The Speeflow.1 boots are available from the adidas Store under the football boots subsection.
We'd also recommend checking out Pro:Direct Soccer and JD Sports under the football boots category as an alternative place to buy.
