The traditional golf season may be coming to an end, but adidas is looking to keep the game alive this winter following the reveal of four new Samba Golf shoe colourways.
Arriving in vibrant pastel tones, the shoes are a complete contrast to the origins of the Samba model as the traditional silhouette was originally designed to allow footballers to train in firm, icy conditions over the winter months.
The changes in tone come with updated technology and features which, adidas claims, will help you perform to the best of your ability on the course.
How do they compare to some of the best golf shoes around right now though? Well, on the surface they look well matched. That being said, here's everything we know about the launch of the Samba Golf shoes so far...
adidas Samba Golf Release Date
First announced via the press release, adidas has confirmed that the spikeless cleats are available now as of 15 September 2022 through adidas and selected retail partners worldwide.
As they're limited, we'd recommend acting fast if you want to secure your own pair because it's possible they'll sell out fast depending on how many adidas releases.
adidas Samba Golf Price
Despite adidas keeping the price under wraps during the press release, the official listings for the sneakers have since confirmed that the spikeless cleats cost £85 in adult sizing.
Sizes range from 3.5 to 11 UK right now, with no word on whether smaller and subsequently cheaper kids sizes will be made available. Stay tuned for more information on this riht here.
adidas Samba Golf Design
As mentioned, adidas has revealed four Samba Golf shoes in total dressed in pastel, tropical colours which are said to give connotations of a summer's sunrise and sunset.

These colourways include halo blue, clear pink, pulse yellow, and crystal white, although all three options come with white, adiwear spikeless soles as standard.
You'll also find several metallic gold accents such as the "Samba" branding across the side panels, and the adidas Samba logo on the tongues.

Technology-wise, the shoes come with extra EVA cushioning in the midsoles to give a little more support and comfort on the course, plus suction cups in the forefoot areas for more specific golf traction.
Unlike the 2012 Sambas, these updated sneakers also come with water-resistant coats and have been made using recycled materials to continue adidas' bid to end plastic waste.
Ultimately, their combination of advanced technology and potentially low price tag should mean these Sambas feature in and amongst some of the best golf shoes under 100 around.
Where To Buy The adidas Samba Golf
These limited edition golf shoes are on sale at the adidas store, the adidas app, and selected retail partners worldwide right now.
However, if you miss out on a chance to secure your pair through adidas, then we'd recommend checking out the resale market at StockX as an alternative way to buy.
