A Plague Tale: Requiem Release Date
A Plague Tale: Requiem has a release date scheduled for Tuesday, 18th October 2022 with pre-orders for the game already available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and a cloud version of the game for Nintendo Switch.
The decision to release the game on only the newer consoles stems from developers Asobo Studios and their desire to push the game's technological boundaries more than the prior game with the rendering of 300,000 rats at once now a possibility due to the advances in power for this new generation.
A Plague Tale: Requiem Trailer
There have been many trailers for A Plague Tale: Requiem since its initial announcement back at E3 2021, with the most recent being an extended gameplay sequence shown at Xbox's Summer Game Fest Event.
The trailer itself is 12 minutes long and shows the game in action with hints at the story as well as the various styles of locations you'll be encountering and even some combat.
Is A Plague Tale: Requiem Coming to Xbox Game Pass?
Much like 2019's A Plague Tale: Innocence, the upcoming sequel was announced as coming to Xbox Game Pass for both Console and PC as a Day One addition to the service. This means that subscribers to any version of Xbox Game Pass, be it Console, PC or Ultimate, will get access to the game the moment it is released to the world at no extra cost.
For those who have yet to enjoy the original game, it is still available to be played via Xbox Game Pass, meaning that you could enjoy both games in quick succession if you've yet to pick the series up.
