Madden Ultimate Team will kick off the week with a huge reveal, the MUT 22 TOTW 4. Since Week 4 of the NFL has come to a close, we'll be receiving a new Team of the Week based on how players performed.
The question is, who could make the Madden 22 TOTW roster? There were some amazing performances, but who stands out among the rest?
Let's take a look at who we believe will receive the honor of making the MUT 22 TOTW 4 squad.
MUT 22: Team of the Week 4 Release Date
Madden 22 adds the MUT 22 Team of the Week lineup on Tuesday mornings each week.
Keep your eyes on Good Morning Madden on Twitch to hear all the players revealed for the Madden 22 TOTW 4.
Expect the cards to go live in Madden 22 Ultimate Team just after 4pm ET / 3pm CT on Tuesday, October 5th.
Player of the Week 4 (POTW) - Tyreek Hill
Not many people could put together the kind of game that Tyreek Hill had against the Philadelphia Eagles. Out of all the standout players from Week 4, Tyreek Hill makes the best case for POTW.
He torched the Philadelphia Eagles secondary for 186 receiving yards on 11 receptions., piling on a whopping three touchdowns along the way.
He was a vital part of the Chiefs 42-30 win over the Eagles, getting the Chiefs back to .500 at 2-2 and we can't think of a better receiver for the MUT 22 POTW.
Team of the Week LTD - Peyton Manning (2009)
In 2009, the 4-0 Indianapolis Colts were led by a man they called "The Sherrif". Others knew him as Peyton Manning. Manning led an incredible offense that was highlighted by WR Reggie Wayne.
In the game to improve their record from 3-0, the Colts faced the Seattle Seahawks and Peyton Manning had a field day throwing for 353 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Considering he ended up leading the Colts to win an AFC Championship that year, we expect Peyton Manning to be the LTD quarterback in MUT 22 TOTW 4. Unfortunately, there are a lot of players to choose from, so this is just speculation.
TOTW 4 Offensive and Defensive Heroes Prediction
Considering that Madden 22 will take into account all of the offensive and defensive players in history, this category is tough to pick, but we'll give it our best shot.
Just because there is a lot to choose from, doesn't mean we can't thin out the list and narrow it down to two players that we believe could get the title in MUT 22 TOTW 4.
Offensive Hero - Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers, 2010
Before there was a Travis Kelce, there was Antonio Gates, the multi-tool tight end for the San Diego Chargers. Gates was a threat in the red zone, downfield, and as a blocker.
In 2010, Gates had one of his best games against the Arizona Cardinals and they desperately needed a win. Gates finished the game with 7 receptions for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns. He'd be a great choice for the MUT 22 TOTW 4 Tight End.
Defensive Hero - Darryl Williams, Seattle Seahawks, 1997
In Week 4 back in 1997, the Seattle Seahawks came into the game versus the San Diego Chargers at 1-2. They needed a win and it was going to require a lot of defense to pull it off.
Defensive Back Darryl Williams was exactly who they needed to make a big impact on this game. His three interceptions allowed opportunities for the Seahawks to score and win the game 26-22. We think he'd be a good option for the Madden Ultimate Team TOTW 4 Defensive Hero.
TOTW 4 - Other Player Upgrade Predictions
The players in Week 4 of the NFL turned up the heat this week with their performances, but some of them stood out more than others. We believe each of them could be recognized for their performance in MUT 22 TOTW 4.
Offense: Deebo Samuel, Ezekiel Elliot, Daniel Jones
It wouldn't be much of a shock to see Daniel Jones get some recognition in Madden Ultimate Team this week after throwing for over 400 yards in the Giants win over New Orleans.
Deebo Samuel had an incredible game as well, only overshadowed by Tyreek Hill, Samuel finished with 156 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliot had another amazing game, running for over 140 yards and averaging 7.2 yards per carry.
Each of these players would make great offensive additions to MUT 22.
Defense: Trevon Diggs, T.J. Watt, Marcus Williams
You can't forget about the defense, there were some incredible plays made on the defensive side of the ball in Week 4. These players definitely deserve a shot at being on the MUT 22 TOTW 4 squad.
Trevon Diggs had a lights-out game for the Dallas Cowboys this week, Sam Darnold shouldn't have even thrown to his side. Diggs ended the game with four tackles and two interceptions.
T.J. Watt had a great game of his own, although the Steelers lost he was able to grab four tackles and two sacks. Marcus Williams of the Saints finished the game with an interception and a forced fumble.
