FIFA 22: Real-life club Mascots now available for your Ultimate Team stadium

There's plenty going on in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team at the moment as the Team of the Year (TOTY) promo winds down and the Future Stars campaign now underway.

It looks like Stadium personalisation is going to the next level now too, with club Mascots being made available to add on the sidelines in FUT 22.

Mascot mayhem

The official EA Sports FIFA Twitter account has just announced that real-life club Mascots are available to add to your stadium in Ultimate Team.

The video that EA has published with the announcement features the club mascots from Liverpool, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

Of course, Arsenal fans will be wondering where Gunnersaurus is and hoping he hasn't been made redundant again...

We expect the Gunners Mascot to feature, along with loads more of the top Premier League and European club's number one fans.

Celebrate in style

EA Sport's popular Hockey title, NHL has included club Mascots for years now, and there's loads of cool stuff that they can do in-game.

Mascots are actually playable in NHL, which is something that we would love see integrated into VOLTA football in FIFA 23 - just imagine tearing down the wing in a Mighty Red costume.

The video above also takes us through loads of custom celebrations that Mascots in NHL perform upon your command.

This is also something that we expect to see integrated into FIFA over the next several months.

Perhaps we could see a close up of the team Mascot celebrating in style after a goal is scored in the final minutes of the match.

Custom Career Mode Mascots

NHL also gives players the opportunity to create their own custom Mascots, rather than just selecting one from a pre-existing club.

You can change the colour scheme, shape, size and facial features of your Mascot and detail them however you see fits in with your club best.

NUMBER ONE FAN - A custom Mascot feature would be awesome in FIFA 23

This is something that we'd love to see introduced to the football sim in FIFA 23 and could tie in nicely with not only Ultimate Team but Career Mode and Pro Clubs too.

We already have the option to customise our appearances as a Pro Clubs player and as a manager and player in Career Mode, so it would be an awesome addition on top of the already vast customisation options.
