It's normal for sports games to have glitches, and FC 25 is no exception. However, there is a huge difference between a glitch that makes the menus slower and a game-breaking glitch.

Unfortunately, the latter has been affecting the FC 25 gameplay, with a glitch that allows players to cross the "invisible wall" in set pieces, and block corners, free-kick, goal-kicks, and even throw-ins.

A Frustrating Gameplay Glitch

The "block glitch" is what the community is calling this FC 25 game-breaking glitch. As mentioned above, the glitch allows players to block all kinds of set pieces, such as corners or goal kicks.

How is that possible? Many of you might be wondering. Well, users simply need to run and press R1 just when they are about to reach the "invisible wall, and their player will continue to go in a straight line, blocking the goal kick, corner, or free-kick.

Content creator Zach was the one who found out about this glitch, and many players have claimed they have experienced it. Furthermore, the glitch is affecting the gameplay in a plethora of game modes, such as Rivals, Friendlies, or even Moments.

At the time of writing, the glitch still works, and many in the community fear that EA Sports will take too long to address the issue. The first Weekend League of FC 25 is just a few days away, and a game-breaking glitch such as this needs to be fixed before that.

If the glitch isn't fixed before the start of the Weekend League, then there is a good argument to be made that the Weekend League needs to be postponed.

A mode that is supposed to be competitive can't be played with such a game-breaking glitch as this one, as players would abuse it, and there would be no way for EA Sports FC to prevent that from happening or penalize those who did it.

It would also make the Weekend League an excruciating experience, at least more than what it already is, which certainly isn't what EA Sports wants. Hopefully, the EA Sports devs team can fix this glitch as fast as possible, and players can go back to enjoying FC 25 without having to worry about it.
