The Future Stars promo is almost at an end in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and it is nearly time for the fan-favourite Road to the Final (RTTF) promo to take its place.
However, we still feel that several youngsters were very unlucky to miss out on FUT 22's Future Stars promo and could perhaps feature in FIFA 23's campaign.
What are Future Stars?
Future Stars is a promotional event in Ultimate Team with special Future Stars player cards handed out to the most promising youngsters in world football.
Only players who are aged 23 or younger will be eligible for a Future Stars card.
These Future Stars cards will represent players at the expected pinnacle of their careers, rather than right now.
FIFA 22 Future Stars
FIFA 22 brought us two incredible Future Stars squads.
Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham headlined Team 1 with a game-breaking 93 OVR card.
The likes of Juve's Dusan Vlahovic and young Gunner Emile Smith Rowe were also handed brilliant cards, with Ferran Torres arriving with a 92 OVR card in the mini-release too.
Barcelona wonderkid Pedri headlined Team 2 with an incredible centre-mid card.
Ajax's Ryan Gravenberch 92 OVR card wasn't bad either... The Dutch midfielder was given THREE base stats above 90-rated.
Bundesliga stars Wirtz and Adams featured alongside perhaps the best centre-back card in FUT, Lacroix.
However, we feel that a few youngsters were extremely unlucky to miss out on the FUT 22 promo...
FIFA 23 Predictions
After being left out of the FIFA 22 promo, we could see these U23s included in FIFA 23's Future Stars camapign.
Harvey Elliot (OVR 90)
We all expected Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliot to be a shoo-in for the Future Stars promo in FUT 22, but perhaps EA is saving him for next year's event.
The 18-year-old shows supreme quality on the ball every time he plays and has made himself one of Jurgen Klopp's first choice midfielders.
Jamal Musiala (OVR 89)
Teenager Jamal Musiala is one of the most exciting talents in world football right now.
At the age of just 18, Musiala features regularly for Bayern Munich and has showcased his skill whilst playing on the left-wing and also in a central playmaker role.
Karim Adeyemi (OVR 88)
20-year-old Karim Adeyemi has scored 14 goals and provided 2 assists in just 18 appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season.
The German striker certainly has a bright future ahead of him and we can't work out how he didn't make it into the FIFA 22 Future Stars Team.
Ronald Araujo (OVR 87)
Ronald Araujo has stepped into a weak Barcelona side this season and has performed excellently under new boss Xavi.
The 22-year-old Uruguayan plays with a calmness about his game that is normally only seen with experienced professionals.
Illan Meslier (OVR 88)
French goalkeeper Illan Meslier has nailed down his place as Leed's first choice goalie at the age of just 21 years old.
The youngster may not hit his peak for another ten years, which is a frightening prospect considering how good he is at shot-stopping already.
