Patch 1.4 of NBA 2K25 has arrived at the game and it addressed some very important gameplay problems. This patch also fixed many bugs and exploits that were affecting the game across many game modes such as The City, MyTEAM, and MyNBA.
The developers focused on solving the issues that were impacting the NBA 2K community the most and preventing players from enjoying NBA 2K25.
The Takeover Bug Is Finally Gone
As mentioned above, Patch 1.4 introduced some significant gameplay fixes.
The bug that was causing the Takeover meter to drop from tier 5 to tier 1 despite the chemistry meter being filled was fixed. This was something that had a huge impact on the game and that fans had been asking for, as it impacted the gameplay in offline and online modes.
That wasn't the only bug the developers fixed, as an issue that was preventing players from being substitutes while on a hot streak, which was affecting a lot of players, was also fixed.
A Handful of Bug Fixes
No more gameplay bugs were addressed, but developers fixed a plethora of bugs, especially in MyTEAM and The City. The Showdown and Salary Cap bugs, which were causing many players to be disconnected from the modes at the start of the game, were fixed.
When it comes to The City, developers fixed the framerate issue players were experiencing while playing in the park, more specifically on the Elite, Rise, or Beach courts.
The squad finder feature was improved, the exploit players were using in the go-kart track to achieve ridiculous low times was fixed, and the disconnect issue that was plaguing many users when playing games against NBA players in MyCOURT was also resolved
These changes might not seem game-changing but they are certainly good ones. They fixed issues that many players in the community were experiencing and complaining about and introduced some quality-of-life improvements to the game.
