After a long wait, Monster Hunter Rise has arrived on Nintendo Switch today, letting you take the action on the go.

Now that Monster Hunter Rise is out on Nintendo Switch, Capcom has released a brand new launch trailer for you to check out.
It gives you a new look at the new monsters, features, and locations that you'll see in the game.

Pre-Order Bonuses
If you've pre-ordered the standard edition of the game, you should have some extra cosmetics to claim. They are:
- Palico Forest Cat Costume layered armor
- Palamute Retriever Costume layered armor
- Novice Talisman for some extra assistance in the early stages
You should find them in your stash in your camp once you load up the game.
Simply equip the costumes to your Palamute and Palico and you'll be able to head out onto the hunts looking cool.
Release Date
Monster Hunter Rise is out on Nintendo Switch on March 26.
Monster Hunter Rise Platforms
The game is only releasing for Nintendo Switch on March 26.
It's set to come to PC at a later date, likely in 2022, but nothing has been revealed in terms of a PS4, PS5, or Xbox version of the game.
Preload & Unlock Times
You can preload the game on Nintendo Switch now if you pre-order it.
Usually digital games unlock at around 12am EST, which would make it 4am GMT.
That being said, the times sometimes change for third-party games. They sometimes don't unlock until 3pm EST/7pm GMT, so keep an eye on your system for when Monster Hunter Rise unlocks.
Download Size
You'll need somewhere between 6.6 and 8GB of free space to download Monster Hunter Rise.
6.6GB is the size that Nintendo say the game will be, while 8GB is what Capcom say you'll need once the Day One Patch is installed.

Main Additions/Changes
- Access to the content from the Deluxe Kit, as well as the add-on content from pre-order bonuses and amiibo bonuses.
Bug Fixes/Miscellaneous
- Miscellaneous bug fixes have been made.
Single-Player or Multiplayer?
You are able to play Monster Hunter Rise in both multiplayer and single-player.
If you'd like to play cooperatively, you can do so with up to three other friends online. Fights also scale so that it's not too easy for squads to take down monsters.

Alternatively, you can play solo if you'd like. The missions are separate to the ones you'll play online, and take you through various locations and fights against tough creatures.

New Features
On top of a variety of new monsters for you to hunt, some of which you'll see in the trailer above, the Wirebug is the coolest new feature.
Once collected, they let you leap into the air, adding agility and movement to the important part of Monster Hunter Rise's battles.

Also, you'll now get a new buddy, called a Palamute, which you can ride into hunts.
Wyvern Riding is also one of the game's big new features, which changes how riding some of the game's monsters works.
