FIFA 20 Ultimate Team: How to get Road to the Final Willian - SBCs, cost & review

With the first wave of Road to the Final cards (RTTF) dropping last week, EA gave the FIFA community the power to decide which player would be granted the next RTTF card.

The final vote was between either Vinicius Jr. or Willian, with the Chelsea man coming out on top.

Road to the Final is all about team success, so if the team wins or advances at select times during the Europa or Champions League, the player gets an upgrade regardless of their individual performance.

As he won the fans' vote, RTTF Willian is now available to redeem through a number of SBCs.

Road to the Final Willian Review

Due to the nature of RTTF cards, gamers need to consider whether a player has a good chance of progressing in a European competition in real life before deciding to go after their FUT card.

PEOPLE'S FAVOURITE: Willian won the majority of votes to earn his RTTF card

Willian's RTTF stats are an improvement on his 82 rated base card, with a mark-up of two points on his Pace and Dribbling, and both his Shooting and Passing upgraded to 82.

However, with his base card price around three to four thousand coins, there's no way you can justify spending nearly 200k on his RTTF card...unless it improves.

Evidently, going after RTTF Willian is a risk.

The FIFA community recognise this and many are not convinced that Chelsea will progress very far in the Champions League.

One popular Reddit post on the FIFA sub-Reddit sparked a debate on whether RTTF Willian is worth the coins.

"Chelsea must win their next game. Not worth it" one user pointed out, echoing the general sentiment of the community.

Another gamer offered an alternative option, starting that they "feel like buying a RTTF Mahrez off the market is a better investment for people wanting an EPL RW".

This is a valid suggestion, as RTTF Mahrez is selling for near the 300k mark - this means for 100k more you'll be signing a man with better stats and more potential to progress to the latter stages of the champions League.
