The Air Jordan 6 "Chrome" looks set to return twenty years after the low-top version debuted in 2002, leaving sneaker fans curious as to when we might hear a release date announcement from Nike.

2022 seems to be the year of returning Jordan colourways as both the reimagined Air Jordan 1 and Jordan 2 "Chicago" are expected to arrive later this year on top of the returning "Chrome" design.

While there are plenty of retro remakes to look forward to, we're focusing solely on the Jordan 6 "Chrome" release in this article. So, without further delay, let's dive in...

Air Jordan 6 Chrome Release Date

It is currently being reported that the Jordan 6 "Chrome" mid-tops will be released on 19 November 2022.

In light of Nike's habit of saving its biggest Jordan drops until around the holiday season, we shouldn't be surprised that this release date has been set.

Having said that though, there have been a few delays in Jordan releases as of late, so, as there's still a little while to go before 19 November, we'd recommend checking back in with us to keep updated with the latest news as and when it arrives.

Air Jordan 6 Chrome Design

The mockups, courtesy of @zSneakerHeadz and House Of Heat, show off what the "Chrome" Jordan 6's may look like, a design that seemingly sticks to some of the best Jordan 6 colourways around right now.

Both renders showcase sneakers predominately made from black nubuck, which are then completed with metallic silver accents in classic Infrared blocking across the midsoles, hence their "Chrome" nickname.

Underfoot, you'll likely find icy-blue, translucent outsoles to contrast the mostly dark aesthetic of the uppers.

In terms of branding, you should find Jumpman logos across the heels, insoles, and outsoles, while the word 'Jordan' will likely be printed across the tongues in typical Jordan 6 fashion.

It's also worth mentioning that these sneakers are expected to arrive in some sort of special packaging, although there's been no word on what this will look like just yet.

On top of that, keep in mind that these are just mock-up pictures of the shoes. As a result, there may be a few minor differences between the designs you see in these images, and the final look once Nike reveals the official photos.

Where To Buy Air Jordan 6 Chrome

We believe one of the first places you'll likely find a listing for these Jordan 6's is at the Nike store under the Jordan, basketball, or new releases subsections.

We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications as soon as the listing goes live on the SNKRS page or App so you're completely prepared for their arrival.

Alternatively, check out the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair on release day is unsuccessful.
