The start of Season 2 is here and something that we're excited about is the release of the NBA 2K23 The Long Night.
For those of you that don't remember, this is a Halloween-exclusive event that will only last for 24 hours.
Let's check out when the event should start, how long it will last, and what to expect.
NBA 2K23 The Long Night Event
Not a lot of the event has been revealed but we do believe the event will start on October 28, 2022, but this hasn't been confirmed.
The NBA 2K23 The Long Night event is a familiar one but it won't last the entire weekend. It'll only last for 24 hours as The City and the GOAT Boat goes dark.
You're going to be able to get a few costumes to show off during the event by gaining levels and collecting rewards.
One of these outfits is the Jabbawockeez outfit that you can see in the picture above. That isn't the only outfit that's available during the NBA 2K23 The Long Night weekend.

Things to do during The Long Night
NBA 2K23 The Long Night will have players traveling throughout The City and the GOAT Boat to earn rewards in the dark of night.
It was also revealed that there will be festive events in certain areas and we're hoping to receive a map of the locations very soon.
Once we have a full reveal of the locations, we can give you a guide to where you can find all of the rewards while you Trick Or Treat in NBA 2K23 The Long Night.
Now that we've taken a look at The Long Night, let's take a look at the latest update for NBA 2K23 Season 2.
Patch Notes Update for Season 2
Every area of the game received a pretty significant update and this includes MyCAREER in preparation for Season 2.
Part of this update was the announcement of NBA 2K23 The Long Night and a western theme for the various courts and buildings in the game.
It's likely that there will be an event similar to NBA 2K23 The Long Night in MyTEAM but it wasn't revealed in the Courtside Report.
