MLB The Show 22 Roster Update Predictions (May 13)
It looks like we're officially nestling into the biweekly MLB The Show 22 Roster Update schedule now, and that's good news for players looking to make Stubs.
Things have been in flux with some Live Series cards losing value following the April Monthly Awards Program update, but the market does appear to have stabilized since then.
We know the next Roster Update is scheduled for Friday, May 13, 2022 at approximately Noon PT with player ratings changes on the docket.
Flipping cards you've chosen to invest in and selling them either on the market or with the increased quicksell value is the best way to make Stubs following each attribute adjustment.
Investments are always a risk, but they can payoff big time if you make the right play ahead of these player ratings adjustments.
Gold to Diamond: Josh Bell (82 OVR)
We've seen consistent strong play from Josh Bell this year, and his batting recently with the Washington Nationals could definitely signal an upgrade.
Bell has a .343 average over his last 30 games paired with a .442 OBP and .529 slugging anchored by his 35 hits and 21 RBIs in that same time frame.
Silver to Gold: Jordan Romano (78 OVR)
The AL Reliever of the Month for April has been on fire with a 1.35 ERA in his last 15 games, and that includes 12 saves.
At 78 OVR he'd be a solid investment that is likely to go Gold in these player ratings changes, but holding onto him for longer could net more if he continues to play well.
Silver to Gold: Miles Mikolas (78 OVR)
While he's only been making his mark across the last 6 games for the St. Louis Cardinals, don't sleep on Miles Mikolas.
It's not a massive sample size, but Mikolas has a solid 1.53 ERA across that period and is close enough to Gold that he could still make the leap.
Long-Term Silver: Tarik Skubal (76 OVR)
Lastly we have a long-term investment option in the form of Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers, who could slowly work his way to Gold.
Skubal has had a decent 3.71 ERA across his last 5 games, an improvement so far on his last two seasons, and continued solid play could make him a valuable investment if you wait for a future MLB The Show 22 Roster Update.
