The Thanos Cup Tournament Begins in Fortnite Today

Following some teases last week, the Fortnite Thanos Cup is now beginning to roll out across the globe.

Below, we've got all the details you need on the event and live updates on its release.

Thanos Cup Live in Asia & Australia

While the Thanos Cup has just gone live in the Asia and Australia regions, the Fortnite servers were also having some issues.

However, they have now been fixed and you should be able to jump into the tournament without any issues.

To make up for the issues, the tournament has been extended by 30 minutes in that region.

Thanos Cup Start Time

Epic Games has confirmed that the Thanos Cup will begin on on June 21. However, they have not confirmed the exact start time on that day, for all regions.

That being said, Fortnite tournaments usually begin at 5pm BST, so it'll likely be that time once more.

You will be able to check the start time in game once June 21 rolls around.

Duos Cup Rules

Below is the official description of the Fortnite Thanos Cup:

"Grab your Duos partner and compete in up to 10 total matches in 3 hours to earn as many points as you can. The top-performing teams in each region will earn the Thanos Outfit and Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame."

Once again, you must have an Epic Account at level 30 and 2FA enabled on that account to join in with the Thanos Cup. Here are the full rules.

Rewards

The top performing teams in each region will be granted the Thanos Outfit and Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame a few days early.

From 8pm ET on June 26//1am on June 27, you can purchase the skin and even equip the "Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame - completed with all six Infinity Stones."

Therefore, even if you aren't able to take part in the tournament, you can skill show off the themed skin.
