Thanos Cup Has Begun in Asia & Australia
The Thanos Cup has just gone live in Asia and Australia, but some issues have come alongside it.
Players were unable to join the tournament for a little while, but the problems have now been fixed.
To make up for the issues, the tournament has been extended by 30 minutes in that region.
Thanos Cup Start Time
We know that the Thanos Cup is due to start on 21 June. We do not know a specific start time, but in keeping with the other Cups that have taken place recently, it is likely to be around 5pm BST.
The event will last for three hours, and you will be tasked with playing up to ten matches in this time. The better your score, the better your chance of winning the Thanos bundle.
How To Enter The Thanos Cup
To enter the Fortnite Thanos Cup, you must first pass Epic's account requirements;
- You must be 18 or older, if aged between 13-18, you must seek parental consent
- You must have 2-Factor Authentication enabled on your account
- Your account must be in good standing and at least level 30 (this can be seen in the career tab)
Should you meet these requirements, you are eligible to enter the Thanos Cup. From here, you just need to wait until the tournament starts, then begin playing your allotted ten matches. The Cup format is Duos, so you can bring along a friend to help, ideally one that is good at Fortnite.
When Is The Fortnite Thanos Bundle Released?
If you enter the Thanos Cup and aren't fortunate enough to win a bundle, it will be available in the Fortnite store from 27 June at 1am BST.
According to the rules of the Thanos Cup, the bundle holds an approximate value of $20. This means it will likely cost anywhere between £14-16 worth of V-Bucks in the UK. This is provided that the bundle doesn't launch on offer at a reduced cost.
With this being the first time Thanos has officially been available to purchase as an outfit, the bundle is likely to be incredible popular among players.
His LTM back in 2018 off the back of Avengers: Infinity War was one of the most popular game modes in recent history.
