Football Manager 2022 has arrived, giving you the chance to step into the manager's hot seat and begin your new rollercoaster career.
With PSG one of the richest clubs in the world, we've got some simple tips as to how you can translate that mega-money into major results for France's top club in Football Manager 2022.
Club Vision
There will be high expectations at PSG when you step into the hot seat, with the mega-rich owners striving to claim every trophy available to them.
You will be expected to conquer France, capturing the Ligue 1 title as well as the French Cup. Whilst the Trophee des Champions is considered unimportant, we still think you'll need to bank that piece of silverware in order to keep them happy.
In terms of the Champions League, you are expected to make it to the semi-finals of the competition, with the long-term aim being to finally claim that elusive trophy for the Parisian club.
Tactics
With the sheer volume of talent at your fingers at PSG, you could pretty much play any formation you like.
However, we would recommend deploying a positive 4-3-3 formation, with the main aim being to control possession and dictate the tempo of the match.
With the likes of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe up top, deploying three advanced strikers is a sure-fire way to guarantee goals, but you'll still need to look alive when it comes to avoiding counter-attacks.
Your midfield will be vital to any potential success, with a good balance and defensive structure needed to accommodate your flashy forward line.
Top Players
As we've already mentioned, there's some phenomenal talent at PSG, with the front three the obvious contenders to lead your team to glory.
To avoid the blatant, we haven't included Neymar in this section, but you can be certain that the Brazilian will be a major player for your PSG team.
Lionel Messi
The new 'kid' on the block, Lionel Messi shocked the world when he officially joined PSG last summer.
The Argentine is looking to dominate France and it will be up to you to ensure that Messi is protected and is allowed to flourish.
Kylian Mbappe
The curious case of Kylian Mbappe will be the major question mark lingering over your save. With PSG unable to offer major contractual deals, will you be forced to part with this generational talent?
If not, you're certain to feel the benefit of a player who will swallow up the golden ball in the future and become one of - if not the best - player in the world.
Archaf Hakimi
PSG needed a right-back in the summer and they secured one of the best in the world in the form of Archaf Hakimi.
A super quick fullback with so much skill and class, the Moroccan's stock is only set to rise and he could become the unsung hero within your team filled with stars.
Youth Prospects
It may not be a requirement of the board, but PSG will only sustain their success if continue to develop some of the brightest talents in world football.
With France becoming a hotbed for wonderkid talent, can you help develop some of these youngsters into world-beaters?
Timothee Pembele
A wonderkid defender with so much room to grow, Pembele is out on loan at Bordeaux at the start of Football Manager 2022.
A strong centre half who could easily become a star for your team, can you help Pembele reach the very top?
El Chadaille Bitshiabu
Another wonderkid centre back option with great defensive attributes, Bitshiabu could become a real hidden gem in Football Manager 2022.
With the ability to grow into a top class centre half, we think you should be looking to develop this young Frenchmen in the hope that he can become your next big thing.
Transfers
PSG's transfer budget is far smaller than in recent years, with a certain Argentine star likely to blame for that.
With the purse strings tighter than usual you may be forced to sell, but we've got you covered for the best ways you can move in the market.
Who to Sell
Unfortunately, you will have to sell some decent players in order to strengthen your squad.
Idrissa Gueye and Julian Draxler are two options that should be sold, with neither man good enough to break into your team and with both midfielders boasting incredible high wages.
Rafinha and Layvin Kurzawa are another two that should be sold, with the latter earning £89,000 a week, which is crazy money for someone that is nowhere near first team quality.
Selling those four players alone could make you roughly £30 million and of course, you could sell Kylian Mbappe if you're feeling brave.
Who to Sign
It's hard to pinpoint exactly what PSG need, but we think they're definitely lacking a tough-tackling midfielder.
With a little bit of cash in the bank, we think Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan could be an excellent option for the French club, with the Croatian offering dominance and creativity from a central area.
As an alternative, Leeds' Kalvin Phillips could be a great option for PSG, offering a no-nonsense approach in the centre of the park that could lead to major results moving forward.
Win It All
The biggest challenge at PSG will be keeping the board and players happy, and the best way to do that is to win games and swallow silverware.
With the Champions League the golden chalice for the owners, you'll need to take a balanced approach that will allow you to keep your squad fit and morale high.
It may be a challenge on a smaller than expected budget, but we think you're the manager capable of taking PSG to the very top.
