UFL has burst onto the scene and is set to compete with the likes of FIFA and eFootball in the coming years.
One way to do that is by building up official licences and partnerships for the game, and Strikerz has wasted no time in getting to work.
A brand new UFL partner has been announced, with German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen the latest to be added to the roster.
Official Partner Revealed
The official Bayer 04 Leverkusen Twitter account broke the news earlier today that the club has agreed to be an official partner of UFL.
At the end of the announcement video, embedded in the Tweet above, the words 'Official Licence' appear.
So, we expect the UFL game to have the full rights to the German club's kits, badges, players and stadium.
UFL keeps adding to the roster of official clubs and this will only make the upcoming release feel more authentic.
Release Date DELAYED
Unfortunately, but somewhat predictably, the release date for UFL has been delayed.
We still do not have an official release date, but the developers have given us a vague idea of when it will arrive.
Announced personally by CEO Eugene Nashilov, it was clear he was disappointed the title was delayed, but clear that they wanted to deliver the best game possible.
It is apparently 80% complete and will now be released in 2023, with another update coming in December for when we can expect to see the game.
