NBA 2K25 Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 arrived at NBA 2K25 on Friday, October 18, at 8:00am PT/4:00pm BST.
As happens with every new season, Season 2 introduced a lot of new and exciting content to NBA 2K25. This content was spread across three game modes, MyTEAM, MyCAREER, and The W.
Each game mode received unique content, such as challenges, daily missions, and more. Players can earn many rewards in all the modes, which helps users upgrade their MyTeam squad, or MyPlayer.
But there is something unique about Season 2, as it also introduced a brand-new game mode called Gravity Ball, which is available as a paid DLC.
Season 2 Programs & Events
Season 1 introduced a plethora of content to NBA 2K25, such as the 3PT Royalty Promo, Stealth Mode promo, and The Greatest Era promo, among others.
Season 2 added even more promos to MyTEAM, and these promos introduced high-flying, sharpshooting, and Hall of Fame players.
These players have great attributes and fantastic badges. They are perfect for users to upgrade their MyTEAM, but most are quite expensive.

The new season also brought unique events, challenges, daily objectives, and Locker Codes. These daily or weekly events will be introduced to both MyTEAM and MyCAREER through Season 2, making the modes feel fresh and more entertaining.
Season 2 Rewards
MyTEAM players can earn a total of 40 spectacular rewards in Season 2 of NBA 2K25. The rewards include VC, MT, many packs, and exclusive cards.
The goal is to reach level 40 to unlock the fantastic Pink Diamond Tyrese Haliburton card, which is among the best guards in the game.
On the road to level 40, players will also earn other great cards, such as Sapphire Jamal Murray, Amethyst Obi Toppin, and Diamond James Worthy.
MyCareer players also have 40 rewards they can unlock. The majority of these are apparel or other cosmetic rewards. However, players can also earn some boosts and cap breakers.
When it comes to The W rewards, players can earn Halloween-themed cosmetics, VC, exclusive in-game items such as coaches' cards or jerseys, and other cosmetics.
Season 2 Season Pass
A new Season Pass was introduced in Season 2, and as usual, it has 40 levels, meaning players can earn 40 great rewards.
But that's the free version of the Season Pass, as there are also the Pro Pass and Hall Of Fame Pass, which players need to buy to get access to. Both passes include 40 extra rewards, that include premium content, like exclusive cards, apparel, VC, and other cosmestics.
The ability to pay to skip Season Pass levels is still in the game, which means players can still pay to complete the Season Pass in seconds.
