Chemistry Styles are a good way to give your players in FC 26 the missing edge they need. The added stats with these can often change the acceleration type, too, which can make a massive difference.

Sure, all that won't instantly improve a bad card, but using the right one can make a significant difference. Keep reading to know everything about Chemistry Styles in FC 26 to make sure you use them right.

Chemistry Styles are consumables that you can use on any player in FC 26 to give them a stats boost. Each offers a different stat bonus, like Hawk, which increases your pace, shooting, and physicality.

The amount of boost you get depends on the total chemistry points. If the three dots right below your card when viewing it in the squad are blue, you have the maximum points and gain the max stats buff from Chemistry Style. That also means the fewer points you have, the smaller the boost.

Each player you pack comes with a Basic style that provides a "little bit of this, little bit of that" type of boost. You'll see a small increase in numbers throughout compared to other ones that buff limited stats, but much higher.

Outside of these ones, there is also the Basic chem style that is the default for players you pack.

  • GK Basic: +3 Diving, +3 Handling, +3 Kicking, +3 Acceleration, +3 Positioning

For goalkeepers, Basic has been the go-to for many, as it boosts all-around stats. While for other outfield players it'll be of less use, as defense improvements won't matter for the striker, and likewise attack for defenders.

The suitable one for a player will be whichever boosts the relevant stats and makes up for their weakness. A striker will prefer ones that provide pace and shooting boosts, defensive mids will need passing and defending, so on and so forth. It is best to head to websites like FUTBIN and see more detailed improvements each provides, including changes in acceleration type.
