In short, OmniCC is a cooldown tracker. What the addon does is simple, it adds text to items, spells, and abilities that are on cooldown. Once the timer is finished and there are no more numbers hovering whatever is on cooldown it'll be ready for use—easy as that.

This makes gameplay more fluid and overall less tedious. Apart from other addons, maybe even whole UI changers like ElvUI, OmniCC is minimal in the grand scheme of things as it doesn't completely take over any specific aspect of the game.
