WoW Shadowlands is fast approaching its weekly reset - which means some big things for players progressing in end-game content!
Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Shadowlands weekly reset, when servers will be down, and when things will be back up.
WoW Shadowlands Weekly Reset
Each week, WoW servers go down for the weekly reset on Tuesday morning EST for both Shadowlands and Classic World of Warcraft.
The weekly reset is when Blizzard adds new content for the week, makes bug fixes, and resets timers for content like raids, PVP, caps, and more.
When is the Weekly Reset?
Shadowlands servers will go down for the weekly reset at 10am EST on 22 December.
During this time, players will not be able to connect to character creation or log into the game.

So when will Shadowlands servers come back up?
Shadowlands Server Downtime
Shadowlands servers will only be down between 7am and 8am EST on 22 December according to Blizzard's schedule.
This is a welcomed change from last week, when maintenance lasted over four hours.
This change is because last week introduced tons of new content to WoW Shadowlands including new Castle Nathria difficulties (Mythic, Raid Finder), and plenty more.

The 22 December weekly reset should include significantly less new additions to the game, and instead be much more maintenance based.
This Week in WoW Shadowlands - Weekly Reset Patch Notes
So what's new this week in Shadowlands? While we don't have a formal patch notes, we have an idea of what's soon to come in the Weekly Reset.
Coming off of a huge new content week, this week will seem very tame in comparison.
22 December will introduce new Torghast wings and likely push the Layer cap (effectively increasing Soul Ash per week numbers), new Covenant quests, and push the conquest cap, renown cap, and others forward.
