WoW Shadowlands has been a fantastic expansion so far, but its first real challenge, Castle Nathria, is finally here.
Along with the Shadowlands' first raid the new weekly reset also released Mythic+ dungeons, and PVP Season 1!

Most that enter Castle Nathria never come out alive, but with the right preparation, you might just be able to pull it off.
Castle Nathria Release Date, Time
WoW Shadowlands is about to move fast, releasing its first PVP season, first raid, first Mythic+ dungeons, and first PVP Brawl on the same day.
Players can now join Normal and Heroic difficulty Castle Nathria.

That means players have just a little bit more time to grind out their non-upgraded Mythics to pick up 184 Ilvl gear before diving into Castle Nathria.
Bosses
Castle Nathria will have 10 bosses - each with a range of mechanics players will have to master to clear the Shadowlands raid.
These boss mechanics will differ based on the raid difficulty.

The Shadowlands Castle Nathria bosses include:
- Shriekwing
- Huntsman Altimor
- Hungering Destroyer
- Artificer Xy'Mox
- Sun King's Salvation
- Lady Inerva Darkvein
- The Council of Blood
- Sludgefist
- Stone Legion Generals
- Sire Denathrius
These 10 bosses will be divided into wings, including the Catacombs Wing, Royal Quarters Wing, and Upper Spire.
Loot
Castle Nathria has some amazing loot that players will chase to grow their characters.
For the Normal and Heroic difficulties, gear ranges in Ilvl.

For Normal Castle Nathria, loot will be 200 Ilvl, with 207 Ilvl gear dropping from the final two bosses.
For Heroic Castle Nathria, loot will be 213 Ilvl, with 220 Ilvl gear dropping from the final two bosses.

Castle Nathria may be the star of the show for the upcoming week of WoW Shadowlands, but it isn't the only new addition.
The new weekly reset will add Mythic+ dungeons to the game, which will reward massive loot and challenge players to push their difficulty settings to loot keys for stronger dungeons.

It will also add the new PVP season, which means Conquest Points will unlock, Arena Rating will be added, and Rated Battlegrounds will arrive as well. For the non-competitive PVP side, players will also receive their first PVP Brawl, a casual BG queue with unique rules that is time limited.
