Fans of survival horror can rejoice as we now have confirmation of the Resident Evil Showcase for this week, following the exciting news of a Silent Hill showcase also arriving.
The Resident Evil Showcase will give us a look at two upcoming titles in the franchise, those being the DLC for Resident Evil Village set to release this year and Resident Evil 4 which is set for March 2023 as of writing.
Here is everything you need to know about the Resident Evil Showcase.
Resident Evil Showcase Date & Time
The Resident Evil Showcase will begin on Thursday, 20th October 2022 with a start time of 15:00 PDT / 18:00 EDT / 23:00 BST / 23:59 CEST and will likely run for 25-30 minutes if not longer so be sure to check it out.
Where to Watch The Resident Evil Showcase?
According to the official Resident Evil Twitter account, the best place to watch the upcoming Resident Evil Showcase will be on the IP's official Twitch channel but YouTube will also show the event.
The tweet also mentions that co-streaming of the event will be allowed so if you have any favourite streamers that plan on watching the event, their Twitch channel will also likely be a good place to watch the event along with them.
The best experience will likely be the direct feed on the Resident Evil pages, however.
What to Expect From Resident Evil Showcase
When it comes to the Resident Evil Showcase, we already know pretty much everything we should be seeing when it comes to the event.
The showcase will likely be divided into two major segments with the first discussing the upcoming Resident Evil Village DLC and the second focusing entirely on Resident Evil 4.
A new trailer is to be expected, hopefully with some gameplay and maybe even a demo announcement, as is now tradition with Resident Evil games ahead of their release. Pre-Order information is also likely to be revealed during the Resident Evil Showcase.
