After a number of leaked samples, it appears Nike is finally releasing the long-rumoured, denim-clad Air Jordan 1 High after in-person images of the sneakers have emerged online.
Jordan is certainly no stranger to denim, having previously collaborated with Levi's; however, this is a standalone release that will accompany several new OG colourways like the Air Jordan 1 "Africa" and the "Light Curry" Jordan 1 GORE-TEX.
While there is so much to look forward to this year, we're focusing solely on the "Denim" Jordan 1 release here, so, without further delay, let's dive in...
When Is The Air Jordan 1 High OG Denim Release Date?
At this moment in time, the exact release date of the "Denim" Jordan 1's is unknown.
However, a Summer release date seems most likely according to recent reports, with June 2022 being the latest estimate.
It's also worth pointing out that these sneakers are due to be a women's exclusive release, and it's unclear at this stage whether sizes will be extended.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Denim Design
There are currently no official images of the "Denim" high-tops; however, we do have an in-hand look courtesy of pvasneakers and sneakerknockerzllc.
While the base layer around the toe-box, ankle, and mid-panels come dressed in the usual white leather, a blue twill fabric dresses the overlays which give these sneakers the "Denim" moniker.
The edges of the fabric appear to be a mix of neatly stitched and frayed to continue with the jeans-inspired aesthetic.
Upon closer inspection, you'll notice the large gold hoop lace dubraes, with the left shoe featuring a varsity-style Jordan typeface, while the right utilising the usual Jumpman logo.
It's also worth pointing out that the Nike Air logos on the tongues come dressed in pastel blue to match the tone of the twill overlays.
As these are only leaked images at this stage, we'd advise taking these designs as absolute just yet as there may still be a few tweaks made once the official pictures surface.
Air Jordan 1 High OG Denim Price
Much like the release date, it's hard to know exactly how much the "Denim" Jordan's will cost without an official listing.
However, reports are suggesting that these women's exclusive sneakers will retail for around $170 based on previous Jordan 1 high-top releases.
