Nike SNKRS has revealed the new Air Jordan 3 "Dark Iris" colourway ahead of their upcoming release.
Much like the upcoming Jordan 1 "Taxi" and the "Chicago" Jordan 2's, this particular pair of sneakers adopts the traditional Jordan 3 colour blocking which you may recognise from the "Court Purple" release back in 2020.
Despite the similarities, the "Dark Iris" is still a unique colourway in its own right with plenty of subtle details to get excited about. With that being said, here's everything we know about the upcoming "Dark Iris" release so far...
Air Jordan 3 Dark Iris Release Date
After rumours spread of their arrival in June, it's now been confirmed by Nike SNKRS that the "Dark Iris" 3s will launch on 16 September 2022.
The sneakers will debut in adult as well as older kids sizes, so keep an eye out for your size once they arrive at Nike this September.
Air Jordan 3 Dark Iris Design
As previously mentioned, this "Dark Iris" design is essentially a white version of the "Court Purple" released in 2020, which is widely regarded as one of the best Jordan 3 colourways around.
Similar to the "Court Purple", the "Dark Iris" Jordan 3's leather base is contrasted by bright purple accents around the midsoles, collars, and eyelets.
You also get black elephant print around the mudguards to match the inner linings, a common design feature among Jordan 3 releases.
In terms of branding, you'll find the usual Jumpman logos on the tongues, this time dressed in purple to match the sneaker's colour scheme, plus Air Jordan emblems on the heel counters to round off this almost retro Jordan 3 colourway.
Air Jordan 3 Dark Iris Price
The "Dark Iris" 3s will retail for $200 in adult sizing. The older kids' variation is then listed for £99.95 in the UK.
