NEW WEAPON - Yes, it fires .50 Cal rounds
We wish we were joking, but the new UZIK50GI is a small Submachine Gun that shoots .50 Calibre rounds. This means it packs a punch and can tear through destructible environments with ease.
The UZIK50GI has a slower firing rate than your average Submachine Gun and its recoil pattern is a little more erratic. However, that's what you get when you get an SMG that deals as much damage as this.
The UZ50GI features in Thorn's loadout - which is as follows:
- Primary Weapon: UZIK50GI / M870
- Secondary Weapon: 1911 TACOPS / C75-Auto
- Gadgets: Barbed Wire / Deployable Shield
- Unique Gadget: Razorbloom Shell
- Armour: 2 Armour
- Speed: 2 Speed
You can get a glimpse of the new weapon, Thorn's UZ50GI SMG, in the High Calibre Reveal below:
At the moment, we only know that the UZIK50GI is going to be the main Primary Weapon for Thorn - the newest Operator, who's debuting in Operation High Calibre. It'll probably pop up in another Operator's loadout, but we won't know for sure until the pre-season Y6S4 Designer's Notes are released. We might see an updated loadout in the Test Server - the High Calibre update is set to go live today (November 9th), though. So... Keep an eye out.
Operation High Calibre, Siege's Y6S4 update, is expected in late November / early December.
