The battle between Sony and Microsoft over the years has been nothing short of sensational.
From the Xbox 360 vs the PS3 to the Xbox One vs the PS4 to the battle of the Next Gen consoles, the two have been locking horns for well over a decade
But if you're struggling on which to pick this Christmas, then this might sway you.
Adaptive Trigger Support
With both consoles featuring a range of top tier specs and incredible titles, it's the little things that are going to make the difference when deciding which is for you.
Step forward the PS5 and its adaptive trigger support.
The feature came into Assassin's Creed Valhalla in its latest update - patch 1.010 - and can be noticed when you are using Eivor's bow.
You'll feel resistance on the R2 button as you pull Eivor's bowstring back, with the levels of resistance dependant on which bow you select.
We'll see bigger changes on the PS5, there's no doubt about that, but all these little features add up!
Console Exclusives
If the adaptive trigger support isn't enough to sway you towards the PS5, then why not base your decision over which console has the best exclusive titles for your gaming needs.
Sony and the PS5 have the likes of Spiderman Miles Morales and Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Gran Turismo 7.
Meanwhile, for Microsoft and the Series X, there are the likes of the Halo Infinite, Hellblade 2, Forza Motorsport and State of Decay 3.
There are strong cases for both, but the decision when it comes to exclusives lies solely with personal preference.
Xbox slightly edge the battle in terms of the number of exclusives they currently have, but the two will even out as time goes on.
