NHL 22 HUT might have slowed down quite a bit since launch. However, there are still a few things that players can do to have fun.
One area where players can spend their time within Hockey Ultimate Team is by cracking open a few of the Stanley Cup Playoff Packs, which contain Master Items as well.
Let's show you a few of the new cards available in NHL 22.

NHL 23 Cover Athlete Odds
An interesting thing that a lot of sportsbook enjoy is creating odds on who will be the cover athlete for upcoming games.
Considering that NHL 23 is likely to have just as much popularity as NHL 22 HUT did, we're not surprised that the cover athlete odds have been created. However, some of the names are a bit shocking.
Here are the current standings of the odds provided by Sportsbetting.AG (lower numbers mean higher odds of being chosen):
- Nathan MacKinnon +200
- Steven Stamkos +300
- Kirill Kaprizov +350
- Connor McDavid +400
- Nikita Kucherov +500
- Cale Makar +600
- Adam Fox +1200
Leading the charge is Nathan MacKinnon, not a surprising choice. However, Kirill Kaprizov being among the top names is quite surprising. He had a great year, sure, but is it cover-worthy?
We know one thing for sure, he's definitely worthy of being on your NHL 22 HUT team this year.
