Player First Games' Multiversus impressed players across the world in its closed alpha testing. Giving gamers an experience that combines the competitive fun of a Super Smash Bros-style fighting game with familiar faces from brands like DC, Scooby-Doo and more.
Now we finally have confirmation on when we can get our hands on the open beta, getting to experience the game in a more complete state with new roster members and more. Here is what we know.

Multiversus Open Beta Coming in July
The announcement of the new beta for the game came via the official Multiversus Twitter account which posted a small video where Studio Co-Founder and Game Director Tony Huynh discussed the beta and its early-access program.
The video confirms that the open beta for Multiversus will begin with its Early Access run on Tuesday, 19th July 2022. Players who have previously participated in the Closed Alpha tests of Multiversus will immediately get access to the Open Beta Early Access and those who didn't can still try their luck and sign up on the Multiversus website.
For those that don't get into the early access portion of the open beta, you won't have too long to wait either as the full open beta launching on Xbox, PlayStation and PC via Steam on Tuesday, July 26th 2022 and will be free-to-play.
Huynh also confirmed that new characters, maps and cosmetics are on their way and that all character progression and unlocks gained in the open beta will be carried over into the full release once it arrives.
