MyNBA and MyWNBA stay next gen exclusive in NBA 2K22
NBA 2K22 has finally started to reveal some of the features that players can expect in this year's game, and that's confirmed the second year of MyNBA and MyWNBA.
Unfortunately, both of these upper level game modes will remain next gen exclusive and only available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of NBA 2K22.
While we haven't learned many details about how they'll look this year, with these franchise mode options having just been added to the series less than a year ago, it's unlikely they'll see drastic changes.
Many of the same customization options should be available in NBA 2K22, allowing you to manage a franchise or league as a whole in whatever way you choose.
MyGM and MyLEAGUE return to current gen once again
For those still on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, there's no great news when it comes to seeing something new from NBA 2K's version of franchise mode.
MyNBA and MyWNBA aimed to unify these two game modes, making both of them better at every turn while maximizing the amount of options players have to work with.
Meanwhile, MyGM and MyLEAGUE didn't even earn a passing mention in today's features reveal for NBA 2K22, and got mentioned just once during the Q&A with developers.
Erick Boenisch of Visual Concepts confirmed that MyLEAGUE and MyGM will return for current gen, mentioned there there were some tune-ups and bug fixes based on community feedback, and that was pretty much it.
