NBA 2K22: How to equip Player Indicator to your MyPLAYER

NBA 2K22 has brought things to the next level with MyPLAYER and MyCAREER by integrating with The City on Next Gen and presenting the Cancha Del Mar on Current Gen.

With new locker codes dropping for them, many are wondering how to equip a Player Indicator in NBA 2K22, and we've got all the details on how to do it.

NBA 2K22: How to equip Player Indicator to your MyPLAYER (Next & Current Gen)

Don't feel bad if you're struggling to figure out how to equip that fancy new Player Indicator you unlocked to your MyPLAYER, it's not in a very clear location.

While in The City, pause and tab over to your MyPLAYER section and go to Animation, just below Appearance.

From there, you'll need to tab almost all the way to the right until you arrive at the Jump Shot Splash section, and that's where you'll find the Player Indicator.

It's a bit confusing how you're actually choosing to equip these, as there's no button press required to confirm they're equipped.

Move up or down to the one you want, left or right to the color you want, and then simply leave it highlighting the one you want equipped.

You can then either hit RT / R2 to move to choose your Perfect Release animation or sound effects, hit LB / RB / L1 / R1 to go to another tab in Animations, or press B / Circle to back out.

As long as you exit that spot with the indicator you want to use highlighted, that's the one that will be equipped for you when you start your next game.

The method is a hair different on current gen, but not by much, as you'll simply tab to the above section and click on Jump Shot Splash before using the same selection process as detailed above.
