A new NBA 2K22 event is making its way to next gen systems and it's not going over very well with current gen players.
Haywire is the name of the new event and we don't know much so far, but there have been a few reveals.
Let's go over what we can expect from the next NBA 2K22 event on next gen systems.
NBA 2K22 Event: Haywire
Haywire is the latest NBA 2K22 event that will debut on Saturday, February 12th, 2022. From what we can tell, the rules and rewards are going to be different in every game you play.
Located in the center of The City, you can head to the NBA 2K22 Event Center tomorrow and start earning rewards and playing games.
You can expect to play 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and maybe even 4v4 and 5v5 games within the next Haywire event. Since the rules change every game, you could see a variety of themes.
The rewards are changing with each game as well, but we still expect XP, Double XP, VC, and perhaps even Clothing are on the table. We're also interested to see how this will tie in with NBA 2K22 Events in Season 5.
Backlash from current gen players
As with plenty of NBA 2K22 events specific for next gen, current gen players are up in arms. To be fair, there has been extra attention on next gen systems this year.
Still, there will likely be an event added this weekend for current gen users on the Cancha Del Mar. More than likely something that has to do with the All-Star game.
Unfortunately, no NBA 2K22 Events has officially been announced for current gen systems, but keep your eyes open for the latest news here.
