NBA 2K22 City Slam is a fun single-player mode for next gen players that kicked off Season 3 with a bang. The great news, it's kept its popularity six weeks later.
The single-player fans will be happy to know that City Slam is getting more attention when Season 4 releases on January 14.
Let's talk about the Season 4 City Slam and the rewards available.
LATEST - City Slam in Season 4
It seems as if City Slam was so popular that NBA 2K22 in Season 4 will continue to add additional things to do to the quest.
You'll also notice that most of the courts throughout The City will be redone and positioned better for vehicular travel. No more getting stopped by the ramps and walls in The City!
There is going to be a lot more inside The City to do in Season 4 and it's also the first time you'll be able to earn Legend status.

NBA 2K22 City Slam How to Play
First, you'll have to activate the quest for NBA 2K22 City Slam, as far as we can tell, there's only one way to do this and it's through your friend Ricky.
Ricky will tell you about some rooftop courts where familiar faces Hendrix Cobb and Junior are hosting a "tournament". From there the quest will activate and you can follow it to the court.
Certain games might have requirements for winning while others you'll just need to win the game, either way, it's a ton of fun in a game to 21.
So, which locations can you play the NBA 2K22 City Slam?
NBA 2K22 City Slam Locations
The location for the City Slam tournaments will start with your local Affiliation. If you're a member of the South City Vipers, that's where you'll start.
You'll play through a series of games and by winning games earn more teammates and take on more tournament games against other NBA 2K22 Affiliations.
Each court will have a different appearance that represents the Affiliation and in each game you'll earn more VC and MVP Points. All of this will lead to the NBA 2K22 City Slam Championship.
One of the main questions we have is if you switch Affiliations, do you have to start over?
Building your City Slam Team
Building your NBA 2K22 City Slam team is a lot of fun, essentially, the players you beat become players you can pick up in 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 games. This includes actual NBA players.
Team composition is huge here, so you'll want to make sure you get a good balance of the right players for each matchup. Depending on your NBA 2K22 build, you'll need the right players to compliment your style.
This game mode is essentially like the Pro Am game mode online, so players will want to make sure they build a strong team before taking on the competition.
Let's go over what you can earn for the NBA 2K22 City Slam games.
City Slam Rewards
The NBA 2K22 Twitter put out a notice asking how many people are playing City Slam and hopefully, that means more rewards are on the way.
One thing we've noticed is that you'll receive 2,500 MVP points per game now along with 250 VC. There are a ton of games to play as well, so you won't run out of tasks quickly.
Hopefully, during the next NBA 2K22 update, we'll see some additional games and rewards added into the NBA 2K22 City Slam quests.

The rewards in NBA 2K22 City Slam vary for each game, but you can expect to earn MT and VC for each game, which is pretty great considering you can play as much as you want.
We're hoping that NBA 2K222 will continue to add in-game competitions considering all of the different Affiliations available. As we said earlier, switching Affiliations could reset the games.
