We're excited for the start of NBA 2K22 Season 5, but we haven't learned too much of it yet. However, we might've got a glimpse of what to expect.
We have a few things that we'd like to see over the next six weeks, including a new Domination tier.
Let's take a look at the five things we want to see in NBA 2K22 Season 5.
5 Things We Want to see in NBA 2K22 Season 5
Each Season of NBA 2K22 has been exciting, but Season 5 could have a ton of potential, especially since the All-Star Game has just ended.
Things like a new Domination tier, maybe even an additional MyTEAM game mode could be on the table. There will be, however, a Courtside Report on Wednesday that could detail everything inside of Season 5.
Before the Courtside Report comes out we have a few ideas as to what we'd like to see over the course of the next six weeks. Hopefully, at least a few of these suggestions will make their way into NBA 2K22 Season 5.
Let's get started with our first suggestion, a new Domination tier.
No. 1 New Domination tier
Domination is one of the most popular modes for MyTEAM, especially for fans of single-player modes. Getting another group of Domination games would be great.
It could be based around the All-Star game with players battling against previous All-Star Teams or taking on lineups of players that were former All-Stars. Either way, we'd love to see a new Domination tier.
No. 2 Adding storylines to MyCAREER
People have likely already completed the regular Story Mode of MyCAREER, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be updated with new quests. Plenty of players recently purchased NBA 2K22 over the weekend, extra quests could keep them interested.
Season 5 of NBA 2K22 could have a ton of events added that really bring more attention to MyCAREER on both next gen and current gen systems.
No.3 Rewards, Rewards, Rewards!
One thing we all want to see is more rewards. With one of the latest reveals, we might get our wish in the form of a free Dark Matter card.
Now, it hasn't been confirmed, but it has been rumored that an NBA 2K22 producer stated a free Dark Matter card could be on the way. We hope that this is more than a rumor and we'll have a free Dark Matter card.
No.4 A new MyTEAM Game Mode
This year we have seen the addition of Clutch Time into MyTEAM, perhaps we could see another MyTEAM game mode added in NBA 2K22 Season 5.
There was a potential leak that showed Vince Carter and the text NBA 2K22 Season 5 Wreak Havoc. Was it real? Or maybe it was just some fan artwork. If it was, it could be cool to see a 2V2 version of NBA 2K22 where you'd wreak havoc on your other opponents.
No. 5 More Skill Challenges to complete
The last thing we'll ask for in NBA 2K22 Season 5 is more Skill Challenges to complete for XP and packs. This is another great way for budget players to build up their MyTEAM lineup.
We'd all love more ways to earn XP and get to Level 40. Implementing more Skill Challenges would be a great way to make this happen.
