If you're looking to test out the game, there's currently an MLB The Show 22 trial going on right now on various platforms.

Get your chance to take the diamond in this limited MLB The Show 22 trial. If you haven't been sure about playing the game, this is a great chance to try it out.
PlayStation Plus Premium, Xbox Live Gold, and Nintendo Switch Online members have a FREE trial of MLB The Show 22 starting today.
The amount of time you can play varies from system to system. PlayStation Plus Premium members can play the trial for up to 4 hours in-game.
Xbox Live Gold members can play the trial from July 15 through July 17 as part of Xbox Free Play Days, and Nintendo Switch Online members can play the trial from July 15 through July 21.

Claim a Free Diamond Dynasty Summer Bundle
Perhaps you've enjoyed the MLB The Show 22 trial and now you want to build your Diamond Dynasty lineup, the good news is there's a free Summer Bundle.
The Summer Bundle is also available for all of the platforms that the trial is as well. If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, the process will actually be within the Xbox Game Pass app rather than in MLB The Show 22.
Once claimed, MLB The Show 22 players will receive one Cover Athletes Diamond Choice Pack, one Diamond Ballplayer Choice Pack, and five The Show Packs.
Claiming on PlayStation Plus is pretty much the same as you'll first want to open PS Plus and then search for the item. From there you can download it and find it within your unopened packs.
New Roster Update in MLB The Show 22
The latest news aside from the new MLB The Show 22 trial is a roster update that has seen a significant amount of players receive an adjustment.
The biggest news is that Mike Trout is no longer the highest-rated player in MLB The Show 22. Shohei is now the number one player in the game.
Five new Diamonds have popped up this week as Ryan Helsley, Max Fried, Will Smith, Sandy Alcantara, and Nico Hoerner all received upgrades taking them to 85+.
