One final MLB The Show 22 roster update has arrived ahead of the upcoming All-Star break and festivities.

We've got all the details on the July 15 MLB The Show 22 roster update and which top player ratings have been changed.

MLB The Show 22 Roster Update: Ohtani ousts Trout, five new Diamonds

With a bit of a delay to line things up just before the All-Star break, the latest MLB The Show 22 roster update has arrived with 386 different player upgrades and downgrades.

We've got some new Diamonds, but the biggest news is that Mike Trout was once again knocked off the top of the mountain.

Trout had returned to the top three weeks ago after being dethroned by Aaron Judge two weeks prior to that, but this time it was Trout's own teammate Shohei Ohtani who claims the top spot.

While Ohtani didn't see his overall rating increase, he did get upgrades to Stamina, H/9, HR/9, Pitching Clutch, and some of his hitting stats.

Trout saw his rating dive, and he slides to being tied for third place in the Live Series along with fellow 92 OVR rated Aaron Judge and Fernando Tatis Jr.

Ohtani takes the top spot at 94 OVR with fellow pitcher Jacob deGrom just behind him as the only 93 OVR Live Series in Diamond Dynasty.

We've also got five new Diamonds this week as Ryan Helsley, Max Fried, Will Smith, Sandy Alcantara, and Nico Hoerner all received upgrades taking them to the 85+ range.
