MLB The Show 22 gameplay revealed in latest trailer
MLB The Show 22 was finally announced just days ago, and players are already looking forward to the title's release date in less than two months.
When the first news dropped, all eyes were on newly revealed MLB The Show 22 cover athlete Shohei Ohtani, a choice that seemed all too obvious considering the year he's had.

You can watch the full stunning MLB The Show 22 gameplay trailer above, and keep your eyes peeled for a special legends roster tease at the end.
This is only our first glimpse at how the game will play this year, but we've likely got plenty more on the way in upcoming feature reveals.
MLB The Show 22 game modes should be featured soon
While they haven't yet announced when the next reveals will land for MLB The Show 22, it was confirmed during the original game announcement that the Feature Reveal videos we saw last year would return.
In the lead up to MLB The Show 21, Sony San Diego put out detailed videos diving into the various game modes and gameplay changes they'd made for last year's game.
Last year we saw them completely overhaul the fielding system, and major innovations like that are not expected to be removed or revamped in the same way this year.
MLB The Show 21 also saw the introduction of Pinpoint Pitching, an extra challenging but accurate new pitching system, but they kept the old pitching mechanics in the game as well.
We're less likely to see those kinds of changes this year as they settle into a new era on next gen platforms, or present gen depending on who you ask, but that doesn't mean there won't be new features.
Major game modes like Road to the Show, Diamond Dynasty, Franchise Mode, and March to October are all expected to get upgrades this year, and those will likely be highlighted in a feature reveal.
