Pittsburgh Legend Roberto Clemente joins The Show

MLB The Show 21 has been giving us a slow trickle of Legends Reveals in their weekly Feature Premiere, but they've slyly slipped the latest into the new Gameplay Trailer for the title.

MLB The Show 21 lands on Current Gen and Next Gen consoles next month, and it now looks like Pittsburgh Pirates legend Roberto Clemente will be headed to the game's Legends Roster.

While the first two Legends Reveals came during the Feature Premieres, this third drop has been snuck into the end of the latest Gameplay Trailer.

Seen at the end of the trailer wearing his #21 jersey with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Clemente played 18 seasons with the Pirates, eventually becoming the first Latin American and Caribbean player inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

After Clemente passed away in 1972 while flying to deliver aid to earthquake victims in Nicaragua, the Pirates retired his uniform number and the MLB renamed the annual Commissioner's Award, now the Roberto Clemente Award, in his honor.
