MLB The Show 21 keeps on bringing new content to Diamond Dynasty, and that continued with the 8th Inning Program.
With time almost up for the Diamond Dynasty challenge, we've got details on when things will come to an end and how much longer you have to complete the MLB The Show 21 8th Inning Program.
Latest - 9th Inning Program's arrival will end the 8th Inning Program
With MLB The Show 21 officially welcoming the 9th Inning Program in a few short days, that also means time is almost up for the 8th Inning.
Players only have until this Friday to finish the program, so anyone who is close to unlocking the 8th Inning Bosses pack will want to give it one last grind before time runs out.
You can find more details here on exactly when the 9th Inning Program is due to arrive in MLB The Show 21.
MLB The Show 21: 8th Inning Program Start Date & Time
With the 7th Inning Program now winding down, it's almost time for the 8th Inning Program to arrive in MLB The Show 21.
Fortunately, the release time is something we can count on, as Noon PT has consistently been the deployment time for new content in MLB The Show 21 since it launched back in April.
Release Date & Start Time: October 15, 2021 at Noon PT (2pm CT/3pm ET)
Expected End Date: November 12, 2021 at Noon PT (2pm CT/3pm ET)
While previous ones were at least 4 weeks long, the 7th Inning Program changed things up with a shortened time frame and ended up lasting just three weeks.
With the World Series fast approaching, it makes sense that they'd target the end of the 8th Inning Program and start of the 9th Inning Program coming during or soon after that event.
That puts the expected end date of the 8th Inning Program firmly in the first half of November, and we should know the exact end date when the 8th Inning Program goes live in MLB The Show 21 as we'll see "time remaining" displayed in-game.
8th Inning Bosses: Chris Sale, Ernie Banks, and Willie Mays
While they've teased things out a bit more in the past with at least one of the bosses kept under wraps until the program itself goes live, we already know all three bosses in the 8th Inning Program.
Milestone Chris Sale, which will be 99 OVR like all of the bosses this time, was first revealed on Twitter earlier this week.
After that, The Lead Off built the hype for one 8th Inning Program boss reveal only to drop both of the others at the same time.
Joining Sale will be MVP Ernie Banks and Milestone Willie Mays, both of which should be must-have 99 OVR cards for any lineup.
As usual, players will have to accumulate XP by playing MLB The Show 21 while the 8th Inning Program is live, and doing that will eventually unlock a Choice Pack containing the three 8th Inning Program bosses.
We're also expecting other new content to arrive with the 8th Inning Program, likely a Conquest map and potentially a Player Program as well.
