Bryce Harper chosen as this year's cover athlete

As announced by EA Sports, the man selected as the MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022 cover athlete is none other than last year's National League MVP Bryce Harper.

At just 29-years-old, Harper has already made his mark on the league including his run with the National from 2012 to 2018 resulting in him being named a 6-time All-Star, 2012 NL Rookie of the Year, 2015 NL home run leader, and winning the Silver Slugger and NL Hank Aaron awards in 2015.

He kept that rolling last year in just Harper's third season with the Philadelphia Phillies as he finished the season with a .309 batting average, 35 home runs, and 84 RBIs. He also led the National League with 78 extra base hits and tied the Major League lead with 42 doubles.

After an unforgettable season, Bryce Harper was named National League MVP and also won both the Silver Slugger Award and NL Hank Aaron Award for the second time in his career.
