Will EA Sports make FIFA 23?

FIFA 22 is still going strong with plenty of promos, SBCs and objectives content to get stuck into in Ultimate Team.

However, it's time to look beyond FIFA 22 as fans have been wondering who will make FIFA 23, amid the rumours on social media.

Will EA Sports make FIFA 23?

In short, yes. FIFA 23 will be developed by EA Sports.

A recent report from VGC claimed that EA CEO Andrew Wilson had told staff that FIFA has been "an impediment" to the company, further supporting an impending split.

In the same article, there was also news about the release of FIFA 23, something we weren't sure would even be happening given the current situation between the two parties.

VGC had all "comments provided anonymously" to them, so while nothing is yet set in stone, it looks likely that a new FIFA game will be coming.

In the article, VGC stated:

VGC understands EA is currently planning to release this year’s game as FIFA 23 and include two FIFA World Cup tournaments – the men’s and women’s events – for the first time.

Will FIFA 23 have a World Cup mode?

With the 2022 World Cup set to kick off in November 2022, fans have been wondering whether EA will release a special game mode as part of FIFA 23.

Well, it looks like FIFA 23 will have a World Cup mode, according to reports.
