Will Madden 22 be on Xbox One?

We don't have an official word about platforms or editions, but previous years saw a Standard and MVP Edition of Madden, with the latter including extra bonuses for Ultimate Team.

As of now, Madden 22 is expected to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Stadia, which are the same platforms that Madden 21 was released on.

When is Madden 22 Coming Out?

As of now, there is no official release date for Madden 22, but the most likely time to expect the game based on previous years is likely August 20, 2021 or August 27, 2021.

We should get some news on June 17, 2021, which was the date featured in the potential cover athlete reveal teaser, but we don't know for sure what all will be announced on that day.

With the Madden 22 cover athlete yet to be officially announced, there is still room for speculation about exactly who might be chosen as the face of the gaming franchise this year.

We recently took a look at some of the top names in the conversation, and many of them could still be dark horse contenders for this year's cover.

However, by now there are really only four names left at the top of the pile, and these are the most likely choices that could be the Madden 22 cover athlete.

Tom Brady

It's hard to keep Tom Brady out of the conversation for Madden 22 cover athlete, and that's especially true now that a goat-themed teaser has been released.

There's no denying that he's one of the greatest the game has ever seen, and being on this year's cover would make him the first NFL star to grace the Madden cover more than once.
