We're inching closer and closer to the Madden 23 release date, and that means fans will be able to start playing very soon.
Here are the details on exactly when Madden 23 will come out and how some players can get in on the action even earlier than the launch date.
When does Madden 23 come out?
It's almost time for the annual franchise to take another step forward with the launch of Madden 23 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
With the release date now official, Madden 23 will come out on Friday, August 19, 2022 with a simultaneous worldwide launch.

That launch window matches right up with the date we'd expected, as it's the same timing used for the Madden 22 release date and in other past years.
This year will mark the debut of major features like FieldSENSE, but many of the best upgrades are exclusive to next gen consoles.
If you're planning to play Madden 23 on Xbox One, PS4, or PC, it's not going to be quite the same game that's largely been advertised.
However, the Franchise Mode upgrades to contracts and updated Free Agency system will be included in both current and next gen versions of the title.
How can you play Madden 23 early?
If you just don't want to wait for August 19 or are hoping to get an early edge on Madden 23 Ultimate Team, there is a way to start sooner.
If you're currently an EA Play subscriber, which Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes, you'll gain access to this year's 10-hour EA Play Trial.
That time-limited opportunity to try the game out is set to arrive on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, but players will have to purchase the game after 10 hours have expired if they want to keep going.
If you don't need to use the trial to find out how you feel, the best option is to secure your pre order now of the All Madden Edition for Early Access.
All players who pre order that version ahead of launch will gain full access to the title on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the same time the trial goes live.
