Madden 22 Awards: Rookie of the Year and league leaders revealed

With the NFL season close to a conclusion, the Madden 22 Awards have arrived to honor the players that saw the most use in this year's game.

We've got details as these reveals continue to land on all of the Madden 22 Awards that have been announced and when the rest could be revealed.

Madden 22 Awards honor the players used most in the game

As the Super Bowl looms just over the horizon, that also means we're wrapping up an NFL season's worth of gameplay since Madden 22 launched back in August.

As a result, EA has introduced the Madden 22 Awards to honor the NFL players used most by gamers when they needed a virtual competitor to count on.

BEST OF THE BEST: Kupp could end up being yet another Rams player honored

It's not clear exactly what categories they're using to define these awards just yet, as they crowned a Rookie of the Year and have followed it up by highlighting the Tackles and Interceptions leaders in Madden 22.

EA keeps data on how players play throughout the year when used in these virtual games, and one of the things they're then able to do is then determine which NFL players are delivering for gamers.

So far we've gotten a handful of reveals, and they seem to keep on coming so we may have a full Madden 22 Awards class by the end of the night.

All Madden 22 Awards Players Revealed (so far)

While there are still more Madden 22 Awards yet to be announced, we've already learned about four huge players getting recognized.

The first was Micah Parsons, and he's been chosen as Rookie of the Year in the Madden 22 Awards. While the criteria is less clear for this selection, it's a completely understandable choice considering the way Parsons delivered on the field this season.

If he plays anything like his real-life counterpart in Madden 22, it's should be no surprise that gamers have been leaning on his defensive prowess this year.

Tyrann Mathieu was next up and revealed as Tackles Leader in the Madden 22 Awards, as players made 198.8 Million tackles with Mathieu this year in Madden 22.

Ahead of trying to lead the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl victory, Jalen Ramsey has been named the Interceptions Leader in the Madden 22 Awards with 49.2 Million interceptions caught with Jalen Ramsey in Madden 22.

It should also be no surprise that he's not the only Rams player getting recognized, as Aaron Donald has been named the Sacks Leader with 49.1 Million sacks by players with Aaron Donald in Madden 22.

Here is a list of all the Madden 22 Awards we've gotten so far:

  • Rookie of the Year: Micah Parsons
  • Tackles Leader: Tyrann Mathieu
  • Interceptions Leader: Jalen Ramsey
  • Sacks Leader: Aaron Donald

All of these reveals have been announced on Twitter so far, so we expect more to continue arriving via the official EA Madden NFL account.
