Ultimate Team remains one of the most popular game modes in Madden 21, and at times it can be daunting to decide which of the many top cards are truly must-have.
We recently spoke to Madden Bowl: Draft Edition Champion Henry Leverette, and he gave us his thoughts on the most must-have MUT 21 cards.
Must-Have Cards in Madden 21 Ultimate Team
Madden 21 Ultimate Team challenges players to collect cards representing the best NFL stars of the past, present, and future to challenge others with a dream team of the best players they can acquire.
When it comes to crafting your group in Ultimate Team, there are a few key cards that Henry had in mind as "an absolute MUST" for all players.
Golden Ticket, Robert Griffin III (QB), 99 OVR
This new ultra-powerful quarterback went live on April 30, 2021 as part of the first MUT 21 Golden Ticket release.
"RG3 can get the best abilities in the game and has that blazing 98 speed to outrun any blitzers," Henry said.
Golden Ticket, Mike Evans (CB), 99 OVR
While normally a wide receiver, a unique cornerback version of Mike Evans was also part of that inaugural MUT 21 Golden Ticket release on April 30, 2021.
"Mike Evans isn’t the 99 speed like the other DBs, however his 6’5” frame makes it hard to throw over him," said Henry.
Limited Edition, Alvin Kamara (HB), 98 OVR
The final card Henry Leverette suggested was the LTD release in Madden 21 Ultimate Team on April 1, 2021, and there were two reasons he made sure to include Kamara.
"Alvin Kamara is the shiftiest RB in the game with his high agility and ability to change direction," he said.
"He’s also a baby WR in the backfield," Henry continued. "Put him on a route, and he can cook a defensive back."
MUT Golden Ticket: Championship Edition
With gamers still enjoying the continued release of this year's Golden Ticket promo, we also asked Henry Leverette what he would've made had he had the fortune of pulling a Golden Ticket.
"If I received a Golden Ticket, and had my choice of making a card, I’d probably make a FS Calvin," he said. "If anyone knows me, they know my favorite player is Calvin Johnson."
"Since he has a 99 WR card already, I feel it’s only right that I should give him one on defense, as well," Henry continued. "He is the GOAT in my eyes."
Who is Madden 21 Champion Henry Leverette?
In the EA Sports Madden Bowl: Draft Edition, 18-year-old Henry Leverette was the captain of Team Henry and led his trio to a major championship victory.
It was his first major title win, but happened was the sixth consecutive EA Major appearance for Henry, marking the longest active streak today as well as one short of the all-time record.
"It felt great to win the Madden Bowl with the team I drafted," Henry said of their championship victory. "I was fortunate enough to get a great pick in the draft, and I was able to draft two competitors that I’ve known for a long time and have been good friends with."
